From time to time, positions become available for qualified individuals on our Board of Directors, or on one of our Committees. Those openings will be posted here, and shared through our social media channels.

Community Placements for Midwifery Students

The Ottawa Birth and Wellness Centre is pleased to offer community placements for Midwifery Education Program students. These one month placements offer students the chance to learn more about how birth centres work, to work alongside our staff team, to undertake special projects, and to observe births at the Centre.

All new midwives who wish to have appointment at the Birth Centre must apply through our official appointment process. To begin that process, please contact us and we will provide you with more information.
