8:45am-9:30am - Reflexology for Labour & Birth

Presenter: Paulette Hébert, Reflexology Therapist (RCRT), Ottawa Integrative Health Centre

Reflexology is a holistic natural non-evasive therapeutic method derived based on the principle that there are reflexes in the body that map out to other parts, glands, and organs of the body. Through the application of pressure on these reflexes of your feet or hands, the benefits of reflexology are particularly significant in enhancing relaxation, improving circulation, encouraging lymphatic action and reducing pain.

This hands-on presentation will seek to teach partners some key pressure points to help their partner when they’re in labour! For post-delivery, some self-help exercises can also be valuable on those sleepless nights!

Throughout the day, Paulette will also be on site and will welcome one-on-one mini consults.
